Who We Are
Welcome to the official Duke Taekwondo Website! We are a Duke University sports club with members of all experience levels. Whether you are a seasoned competition veteran, have never done a martial art before, have experience in another martial art, or haven't practiced in years, we hope you'll come train with us. Anyone is welcome to join!
As a part of Duke Taekwondo, you will be a part of a thriving, continuously growing, award-winning community of martial artists and have the chance to improve both your mental and physical fitness. Throughout the year, you will be able to train in poomsae (forms) and the World Taekwondo (WT) style of Taekwondo sparring under the direction of one of the best coaches in the country and a team of dedicated club leaders. For those seeking an extra challenge, members can compete in various regional and national competitions. You will also have the opportunity to attend various social events, such as banquets, retreats, and casual team-bonding post-practice meals. No matter what your goals are, whether it be competition, personal fitness, or just for fun, there is sure to be something for everyone!
